AMA launches the “1 Minute for 1 Parent” video series as part of its Media Literacy initiative

The Audiovisual Media Authority has launched a new series of informative videos as part of its Media Literacy programme, entitled “1 Minute for 1 Parent”, an initiative aimed at supporting parents in navigating the challenges of the digital world.

The series consists of short, practical and easy-to-understand videos prepared by AMA’s teams. Each episode addresses a specific topic related to children’s use of the internet and technology, offering parents simple and practical advice.

Through this series, AMA aims to help families better understand the digital environment in which children grow and communicate, strengthen dialogue between parents and children and raise awareness of online safety.

The initiative forms part of AMA’s commitment to promoting media and digital literacy, while encouraging the responsible, safe and informed use of technology.

With the message “Informed parents, safer children in the digital world”, AMA invites all parents to follow this series of videos, which will be published periodically and provide practical guidance on navigating the challenges of the digital age.

Previous AMA – TikTok transparency, 102 videos/audios removed from the platform between 4 February and 3 August
