As part of its ongoing efforts to combat audiovisual piracy, the Audiovisual Media Authority has requested and secured the removal of the “One IPTV Player” app from Google Play Store for the second time.
Following further inspections, AMA’s inspections teams found that the app provided illegal access to the Digitalb, Tring, RTSH and TV Klan packages, as well as the SuperSport and Tring Sport channels, without holding the relevant broadcasting rights.
Broadcasting rights must be respected in accordance with the law. The work and investment of others cannot be exploited without authorization.
The Authority continues to monitor every application, platform and website that illegally distributes audiovisual content, step by step. Even if they reappear under different names or in different forms, they will be identified and reported again.
Protecting Albanian audiovisual content, copyright and legitimate investments is not a one-off campaign. It’s an ongoing commitment of AMA.
