During the past year, AMA’s Council of Complaints addressed 390 complaints filed from individuals, groups of individuals, interest groups, associations, etc. Based on the data reported by the CoC, 59.5% of complaints relate to “Basic human rights”, such as dignity, the right to privacy, protection of personal data, freedom of belief, gender equality, etc.
16.4% of complaints filed during 2023 relate to “Child Protection”, 3.6% relate to “Commercial Communications”, 7.2% were out of AMA’s jurisdiction, whereas 13.3% of complaints filed were classified as “Others”.
With increasing numbers every year, each complaint filed is treated rigorously by the Council of Complaints team, within the legal deadlines and by providing exhaustive responses.
AMA has made available the email address info@ama.gov.al, where any individual or group of individuals may address their complaint on irregularities observed in audio and audiovisual broadcasts.
