In January there was an increase in social news coverage in audiovisual media. According to data analyzed by AMA’s monitoring and analysis teams, social news accounted for 16.98%, followed by international news at 14.82%, with political news coming next.

Since August 2024, based on AMA’s monitoring, audiovisual medias have been paying more attention to social news, allocating more airtime to it in news editions.
