After the reports made by citizens to the Audiovisual Media Authority, and in collaboration with TikTok, 995 videos reported for piracy have been removed from the platform.
Meanwhile, 140 profiles have been closed due to reports of pirated content.
Thanks to the collaboration between the AMA, citizens, and the TikTok platform, there have been numerous citizen complaints, as well as actions taken against lawbreakers.
So far, there have been:
- 516 complaints received in AMA
- 178 of these have been deemed in violation of the law. Of these, 171 video/audios have been removed from the platform, and 7 others are under review.
Regarding piracy, since the start of the collaboration with TikTok, there have been:
- 995 videos reported for piracy and removed from the platform
- 140 profiles closed due to reports of pirated content.
The Chair of AMA, Mrs. Armela Krasniqi, continues to encourage citizens to report any content they deem harmful, while promising that each complaint will be reviewed with full responsibility and in compliance with legal provisions.
