Last night (22.03.2022),The Audio-visual Media Authority, AMA, followed with great concern the case where the journalist and cameraman of the show “Fiks Fare” were ill-treated and threatened by two employees of a poultry farm in Durrës. The media team was performing their job on-site in order to investigate the issues and sensitivities related to the public opinion.
The two employees interfered “Fiks fare” journalists job by abusing them physically and psychologically, as well as seized and damaged cameraman’s tools. This is a flagrant case against freedom of speech, which violates media’s activity for transparency.
AMA will punish anyone for such acts and demands respect for the rights of journalists for information in the service of the public good.
