The Chair of AMA participates in the 72nd meeting of the European Audiovisual Observatory.
In this high-level meeting, held at the Council of Europe premises building, all findings and facts of the 2024 audiovisual year were presented, including media market trends, documents on the European Audiovisual Services Directive, with a strong focus on improving and tightening legal tools, and not only that, for the children protection in the virtual world, as well as other current issues.
Online games was another topic discussed at this meeting, and was analyzed to establish the industry’s and the European observer’s perspective for the coming years.
With the votes, including Albania’s, the budget for 2025 was approved, along with all the ambitious and supportive steps of this important financial document.
In the European Audiovisual Observatory, Albania is a member with equal rights like all other decision-making members of this organization.
