AMA inspectors have identified another lawbreaker who was illegally broadcasting programs from two licensed platforms.
An administrative measure has been taken against this offender, in compliance with the applicable legal provisions, imposing a fine of 5 million Lekë. Additionally, the computer unit used for IPTV server broadcasting has been seized, and the URL has been reported to AKEP for further measures.
AMA teams have continued their fieldwork, monitoring the market and identifying pirate broadcasts.
In Kukës, an IPTV server was discovered, which could be accessed through the portal: http://ft45.tvalfa.org:2095/c.
This server was operating illegally, without broadcasting rights, sharing the Albanian platforms DigitAlb and Tring TV to end subscribers, along with their respective sports packages: Super Sport and Tring Sport. Additionally, unauthorized broadcasts included international platforms and sports channels such as Sky Sport, Bein Sport, Eleven Sport, Digi Sport, Nova Sport, Cosmote Sport, and others.
The Audiovisual Media Authority always stands by legitimate operators.
