Content monitoring during May: Political parties, state institutions and dominant actors on national television channels

The content monitoring data for May, prepared by the analysis teams at the Audiovisual Media Authority, present the distribution of airtime allocated to political parties, the presence of state institutions and the synchronous actors across national television channels.

The political parties monitoring shows that the Democratic Party of Albania accounted for 73.11% of total airtime, followed by the Socialist Party with 25.07% and the Freedom Party with 0.84%.

Regarding the presence of state institutions in audiovisual media, the Prime Minister’s Office accounted for 46.03% of the monitored airtime, followed by the Government with 38.83%, while Parliament represented 12.94%.

In the synchronous actors indicator, Edi Rama ranked first with 29.19% of total airtime, followed by Sali Berisha with 28.82% and Toni Gogu with 6.08%.
