The collaboration between the Audiovisual Media Authority, citizens and the TikTok platform continues with concrete results in identifying and addressing harmful online content.
According to the latest data, from April 27 to May 4, 2026, AMA reviewed 95 complaints submitted by citizens. Of these, 37 cases were assessed as law violations. As a result, 26 videos/audios have been removed from the platform, while 11 remain under review.
Of the removed content, 14 videos involved the exposure of children to inappropriate content, including pornography, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and violence, while 12 videos contained incitement to violence and hatred.
Regarding digital piracy, 797 cases were reported during this period, including 405 photos and 392 videos. As a result of interventions, all 797 reported pieces of content were removed from the platform.
AMA emphasizes that every complaint has been handled with full responsibility and in accordance with applicable legal provisions, ensuring a safer digital environment for citizens.
