The Audiovisual Media Authority, in cooperation with citizens and the TikTok platform, continues its work to identify, review and address content that is in violation of legal requirements. According to the latest data, 38 harmful pieces of content and 1,221 photos/videos reported for piracy have so far been removed from the platform.
From the moment of reporting to date, 170 complaints submitted to AMA have been reviewed. Of these, 58 cases were assessed as law violations. Of these, 38 videos/audios have been removed from the platform, while 20 remain under review.
Of the 38 removed pieces of content, 20 videos involved children’s exposure to pornography, narcotics, alcohol, tobacco, and violence. Of these, 17 videos were removed for incitement to violence and hatred, while 1 audio was removed for language exceeding moral and ethical standards.
Regarding Albanian audiovisual content piracy, AMA reports that during this period 1,221 piracy-related cases were registered, including 603 photos and 618 videos. As a result of the interventions, all reported content has been removed from the platform.
