The Audiovisual Media Authority, in cooperation with citizens and the TikTok platform, from 4 February to 25 May 2026, has removed 38 pieces of harmful content and 1,140 photos/videos reported for piracy from the platform.
According to the published data, from the moment of reporting to date, 152 complaints submitted to AMA have been reviewed. Of these, 47 cases were assessed as law violations. Of these, 38 videos/audios have been removed from the platform, while 9 remain under review.
Of the 38 removed pieces of content, 20 videos involved children’s exposure to pornography, narcotics, alcohol, tobacco, and violence. Of these, 17 videos were removed for incitement to violence and hatred, while 1 audio was removed for language exceeding moral and ethical standards.
Regarding piracy, AMA reports that during this period 1,140 piracy-related cases were registered, including 569 photos and 571 videos. As a result of the interventions, all reported content has been removed from the platform and there are currently no cases under review. AMA emphasizes that each complaint has been handled with full responsibility and in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
