AMA–TikTok transparency: 309 complaints handled and 110 pieces of content removed

The Audiovisual Media Authority continues its efforts to identify and remove harmful content from digital platforms, in cooperation with citizens and TikTok.

From 4 February to 14 September 2026, AMA has handled 309 complaints. Following their review, 138 pieces of content were identified as being in violation of the law. Of these, 110 videos or audios have been removed from the platform, while a further 28 remain under review.

The removed content includes:

  • 14 were videos depicting acts of violence;
  • 3 concerned religious hatred;
  • 3 contained footage of criminal acts;
  • 31 involved the exposure of children to pornography, narcotics, alcohol, tobacco, and violence;
  • 53 involved incitements to violence and hatred;
  • 3 audios for the use of language exceeding accepted moral and ethical standards.

Regarding piracy, 2,153 cases were reported during this period, of which 1,011 photos and 1,142 videos. All reported content has been removed from the platform, and there are currently no cases pending review.

Every complaint and report received has been handled with the utmost responsibility and in full compliance with the applicable legal provisions. AMA will continue to work closely with citizens and digital platforms to help create a safer online environment.
