AMA–TikTok Transparency: 263 complaints reviewed, 100 videos/audios removed from the platform

As part of its commitment to fostering a safer digital environment and protecting users, the Audiovisual Media Authority, in cooperation with citizens and the TikTok platform, continues its efforts to identify, report and remove content that violates applicable legislation and the platform’s standards. The data below covers the period from 4 February – 20 July 2026.

In cooperation with citizens and TikTok, efforts continue to identify and remove harmful content from the platform. From 4 February to 20 July 2026, a total of 263 complaints were handled.

  • 125 complaints assessed as law violations.
  • 100 videos/audios have been removed from the platform.
  • 25 videos/audios remain under review.

Of the 100 removed pieces of content:

  • 14 videos for containing acts of violence.
  • 3 videos for containing religious hate speech.
  • 3 videos for depicting criminal offences.
  • 28 videos for exposing children to pornography, narcotics, alcohol, tobacco, and violence.
  • 49 videos for incitement to violence and hatred.
  • 3 audios for language exceeding moral and ethical standards.

Regarding piracy, during this period the following have been recorded:

  • 1737 reported cases of piracy.
  • 860 reported photos.
  • 877 reported videos.
  • 1737 photos/videos removed from the platform.
  • 0 cases in process.
Every complaint and report received has been handled with the utmost responsibility and in full compliance with the applicable legal provisions, reflecting AMA’s continued commitment to protecting the public interest, ensuring user safety and strengthening cooperation with digital platforms.
