The Audiovisual Media Authority conducted 297 thematic reviews of audiovisual content during the first half of 2026, with the aim of verifying compliance with legal requirements.
Content monitoring and analysis identified a total of 48 violations. The main areas of concern included hate speech and discrimination, problematic advertising, child protection, unethical content, as well as the protection of personal data and privacy.
According to AMA’s data, hate speech and discrimination constitute the category with the highest number of identified cases, accounting for 22 violations.

The data form part of AMA’s ongoing audiovisual content monitoring, carried out as part of its efforts to ensure compliance with the legal requirements and standards governing audiovisual broadcasting in Albania.
