Content monitoring during June 2026: Political Parties, state institutions and dominant actors on national television

The content monitoring data for June, prepared by the Audiovisual Media Authority’s analysis teams, present the distribution of airtime among political parties, the presence of state institutions and the synchronous actors across national television channels.

In political parties monitoring, the Democratic Party of Albania accounts for 59.93% of the airtime, followed by the Socialist Party with 36.68%, while independent MPs account for 2.43%. The “Mundësia” Party accounts for 0.27%, the Justice, Integration and Unity Party for 0.30%, the “Bashkë” Movement Party for 0.21% and the Party of Freedom for 0.13%.

Regarding the presence of state institutions in audiovisual media, the Prime Minister’s Office accounts for 48.42% of the monitored airtime, the Government for 33.99%, while Parliament accounts for 15.46%. Local government accounts for 1.31%, while the Presidency accounts for 0.82%.

In terms of synchronous actors, Edi Rama leads with 38.11% of the airtime, followed by Sali Berisha with 27.09% and Taulant Balla with 5.15%.
