AMA–Platform X Transparency: 26 pieces of content reported for legal violations

As part of the digital space transparency and monitoring, the Audiovisual Media Authority has published data on the handling of citizens’ complaints regarding harmful content published on Platform X.

The complaints review team handled a total of 70 pieces of content reported by the public, of which 26 were identified as law violations and referred for action through AMA’s dedicated reporting channel on Platform X.

Of the cases accepted and addressed by Platform X, 9 pieces of content were found to contain various violations. Specifically, one piece of content involved the use of language that exceeded moral and ethical standards; 5 pieces of content contained incitement to violence and hatred; and 3 videos exposed children to content related to pornography, narcotics, alcohol, tobacco, and violence.

In addition, Platform X restricted the visibility of 5 other pieces of content, of which 2 were restricted due to the use of language that exceeded moral and ethical standards, while 3 were restricted for incitement to violence and hatred.

AMA emphasizes that every complaint submitted by citizens has been reviewed with full responsibility and in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

The Authority encourages citizens to continue reporting content they consider harmful and that is published on Platform X through AMA’s official website
