The Audiovisual Media Authority’s Chairwoman, Ms. Armela Krasniqi, participated in the Digital Communications and Media Forum, organized by the International Institute of Communications (IIC), which was held at the Romanian Parliament in Bucharest and hosted by the President of ANCOM, Mr. Valeriu Zgonea.
The forum opened with a roundtable attended by high-level representatives of regulatory authorities from Romania, Croatia, England, Moldova, Lithuania and other European countries. The discussions were chaired by Ms. Lynn Robinson and Mr. Valeriu Zgonea, who emphasized the importance of exchanging best regulatory practices in the digital era.
During the forum, AMA’s Chairwoman shared the Albanian experience and became acquainted with the latest approaches to the challenges facing the media market and regulatory authorities across Europe. She emphasized that cooperation and the exchange of experiences among counterpart institutions are essential for shaping policies and work plans in the audiovisual media and digital communications fields.
The discussions focused on digital transformation in communications, public protection, the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence, as well as the challenges linked with video-sharing platforms and online content.
