The collaboration between the Audiovisual Media Authority, citizens and the TikTok platform continues with concrete results in identifying and addressing harmful online content.
According to the latest data, AMA has reviewed 107 complaints submitted by citizens. Of these, 39 cases were assessed as law violations. As a result, 28 videos/audios have been removed from the platform, while 11 are still under review.
Of the removed content, 14 videos involved the exposure of children to inappropriate content, including pornography, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and violence, while 13 videos contained incitement to violence and hatred. Additionally, one audio piece was removed for the use of language that exceeds moral and ethical standards.
Regarding digital piracy, 934 cases were reported during this period, including 479 photos and 455 videos. As a result of interventions, all 934 reported pieces of content were removed from the platform and there are currently no cases under review.
AMA emphasizes that every complaint has been handled with full responsibility and in accordance with applicable legal provisions, ensuring a safer digital environment for citizens.
