The continuous inspections by AMA’s teams and the collaboration with legitimate entities have revealed all the methods that lawbreakers use to steal audiovisual content they do not have any rights for.
AMA inspectors have thoroughly examined the Fier and Vlora regions to identify pirate IPTV services.
In the Fier and Vlora regions, were found IPTV services that were accessed through the internal IP network, 109.236.45.14, via the portal, http://192.168.120.120:25461/c.
Technical tests done on-site confirmed that this portal could only be reached from the public IP address, 109.236.45.14.
This server operating illegally without broadcasting rights, was distributing to subscribers Albanian platforms along with their respective sports packages; Super Sport and Tring Sport. Additionally, unauthorized broadcasts of international sports channels Arena Sport 1, Arena Sport 2, Arena Sport 3 dhe DAZN 1.
The same as in Saranda, the server was shut down by AMA inspectors.
“It’s time for public IP holders to cooperate with the regulator in the fight against illegality. It’s time for them to understand that cooperating with illegality turns them into accomplices,” said the Chair of AMA, Mrs. Armela Krasniqi, emphasizing that the fight against piracy will not stop.
