15 November 2017, the deadline for the closure of analogue broadcasting in the district of Korça
The Audiovisual Media Authority (AMA), pursuant to Law no. 97/2013 “On audiovisual media in the Republic of Albania”, amended, and following the closure of analogue broadcasts in the district of Berat, informs that the next district where analogue broadcasting will be closed will be that of Korça.
The deadline for closing analogue broadcasting in this district is 15 November, 2017.
For the foregoing, AMA draws the attention of all local analogue subjects practicing television in the Korça district, taking measures to support their program in the digital network of ART or in one of the national private digital networks, licensed by AMA.
On the other hand, AMA, requires the from the public who benefits from TV broadcasting through analogue technology, to be equipped with digital receivers (DVB-T2) type universal decoders), since, by the 15th of November 2017, it will no longer be able to see television broadcasting in this circuit.
