The fight against piracy is one of the Audiovisual Media Authority key objectives, with inspectors present in the field every day to identify unauthorized broadcastings. Another legal violator was identified in the city of Kukës. An OTT server with the domain: https://c112dn.baj.cx was found to be illegally broadcasting and distributing, to end-users, the Albanian platforms DigitAlb and Tring TV, including their sports packages, SuperSport and Tring Sport. Unauthorized broadcasts of international platforms were also detected. This case was reported to AKEP for further measures.
Meanwhile, the Audiovisual Media Authority urges citizens not to buy illegal products and reaffirms its commitment to the fight against piracy.
