AMA will serve as the host of the 12th BRAF Annual Meeting. The proceedings of this forum will take place on 17–18 September 2025 in the city of Vlora.
At the 12th meeting of this important network, discussions will focus on one of the most pressing issues in today’s era of technological development: “Hate Speech in Audiovisual and Online Media”.
Meanwhile, today at the Audiovisual Media Authority, Chairwoman Ms. Armela Krasniqi welcomed the Chair of the Azerbaijani regulator, Mr. Ismat Sattarov and his advisor, Mr. Hashim Alimammadzade. Visiting Albania for the first time, AMA’s Chairwoman presented the key pillars of the institution’s work and engaged in discussions on the current challenges faced by regulators today.
Earlier, AMA’s Chairwoman Ms. Armela Krasniqi also welcomed part of the Turkish delegation, the BRAF Secretary General, Ms. Deniz Guçer; the RTUK Vice President, Mr. Deniz Guler; the RTUK Supreme Council member, Mr. Tuncay Keser; the RTUK Supreme Council Expert, Ms. Ilke Akman, as well as members of the BRAF Permanent Secretariat, Ms. Elif Ayan and Mr. Çağlayan Çağlar.
For Ms. Krasniqi, such important events and the exchange of experiences and best practices with regulators from other European countries and partners represent the best way to achieve success and remain aligned with ongoing developments.
