As part of strengthening its supervisory and inspection capacities, the Audiovisual Media Authority undertook concrete investments in 2025 to modernize the technical infrastructure used by the Inspection and Supervision Directorate.
The investment in new technology and equipment enabled the implementation of a new digital recording system for audiovisual transmission monitoring, significantly improving the quality of both video and audio recordings.
One of the most significant developments is the increase in monitoring capacity from 48 to 60 channels simultaneously, which substantially strengthens the ability to control and monitor broadcasts in real time.
These developments enhance the inspection process effectiveness and the audiovisual monitoring quality, supporting law enforcement and the protection of the public interest.
