The Audiovisual Media Authority Chair, Ms. Armela Krasniqi, held a meeting with the Director General of TIAK, a non-profit company that measures the audience in Türkiye and beyond.
During the discussion, particular attention was given to a tool that has become essential in today’s media landscape like Cross-Platform Measurement (phones, tablets, television, etc.) for the same audiovisual product.
Ms. Krasniqi stated that, with regard to the audience measurement process in Albania, AMA has solely a facilitating role. The process has already begun and the Joint Industry Committee has been established. “Every step forward in this direction will be accompanied by corresponding legal amendments, fully aligned with the European Media Freedom Act (EMFA)”, stated Krasniqi.
