AMA-TikTok Transparency: 609 pirated photos/videos reported and removed from the platform

Cooperation with citizens and the TikTok platform continues in identifying and removing harmful online content, as part of efforts to strengthen digital security and enforce the law.

According to the latest data, a total of 80 complaints submitted to AMA have been reviewed to date. Of these, 29 cases were assessed as law violations. Specifically, 15 videos and audios have been removed from the platform, while 14 remain under review.

Among the removed content, 6 videos involved the exposure of children to inappropriate material, including pornography, drug use, alcohol, tobacco and violence. Meanwhile, 9 other videos were removed for promoting violence and hatred.

Regarding digital piracy, 609 cases were reported during this period, including 305 photos and 304 videos. All of these materials were verified and removed from the platform.

The Audiovisual Media Authority emphasizes that every complaint has been handled with full responsibility and in accordance with the applicable legal provisions, highlighting the importance of citizen cooperation in combating illegal and harmful online content.
