During the first half of 2026, the Council of Complaints at AMA handled a total of 194 complaints, identifying the most frequent issues raised by the public concerning audiovisual content.
According to the data analysis, disinformation constitutes the largest category of complaints, accounting for 16.5%, followed by infringements of image and privacy rights at 12.9%, verbal and physical violence at 11.9%, and issues relating to the best interests of the child at 6.7%.
The periodic complaints analysis enables the identification of the most frequent issues arising in audiovisual content and provides an overview of the public’s concerns.
The data collected and the review of complaints contribute to strengthening ethical and professional standards in audiovisual media, as well as enhancing broadcasters’ accountability to the public.
