AMA–TikTok transparency: 107 pieces of harmful content have been removed from the platform, while more than 1,900 cases of piracy were also taken down

The Audiovisual Media Authority has published data on its cooperation with citizens and the TikTok platform to identify and remove harmful content from the platform during the period from 4 February to 24 August 2026.

According to AMA, from the moment of reporting to date, 292 complaints have been handled, of which 132 pieces of content were identified as law violations. Following the review of these cases, 107 videos and audios have been removed from the platform, while 25 others under review.

Of the 107 pieces of content removed, AMA reports that:

  • 14 were videos depicting acts of violence;
  • 3 concerned religious hatred;
  • 3 contained footage of criminal acts;
  • 31 involved the exposure of children to pornography, narcotics, alcohol, tobacco, and violence;
  • 53 involved incitements to violence and hatred;
  • 3 audios for the use of language exceeding accepted moral and ethical standards.

1,943 reported cases of piracy.

During the same period, AMA also reported data concerning copyright violations on TikTok.

A total of 1,943 piracy cases were reported, of which 1,000 were photos and 943 videos. AMA stated that all 1,943 reported materials have been removed from the platform, with no cases currently under review.

AMA emphasized that every complaint and report received has been handled with responsibly and in compliance with the applicable legal provisions.

The institution emphasizes that cooperation with citizens and online platforms remains an important mechanism for identifying and removing harmful content, particularly content that affects minors, incites violence and hatred, or infringes copyright.
