The Audiovisual Media Authority’s Chairwoman held a meeting with young researchers, activists and professionals from Albania, North Macedonia and Serbia, gathered in Tirana within the Regional Youth Leadership Mobility Programme (RYLMP), implemented by SCiDEV.
During the discussion, AMA’s Chairwoman, Armela Krasniqi, presented the institution’s functions and responsibilities as a regulatory body in the audiovisual media sector, highlighting the importance of media literacy, developments in the audiovisual market and the collaborations AMA has with the TikTok and X platforms.
The participants expressed interest in specific issues related to media, digitalization and the communication challenges in the modern era, while also having the opportunity to visit AMA’s premises, the monitoring studio and the institution’s various work teams.
The Regional Youth Leadership Mobility Programme is a well-established regional initiative aimed at empowering young researchers, activists and professionals from Albania, North Macedonia and Serbia. The programme promotes youth representation and engagement in key areas such as education, migration, youth participation, digitalization, the green transition and regional cooperation.
