The monitoring and thematic review of broadcast content remains one of the Audiovisual Media Authority’s key priorities, aimed at improving the programme offering available to the public.
During 2025, AMA conducted 329 reviews of broadcast content for legal compliance, marking the highest number of monitoring activities in recent years. Of these, 106 cases were found to be in violation. Administrative measures were taken for the identified violations, specifically 94 “Attention drawn” and 12 financial sanctions.
