Press release on the approval of the Strategic Action Plan of Audiovisual Media Authority for 2017-2019
Audiovisual Media Authority, in its meeting dated on 29.03.2017, approved the Strategic Action Plan 2017-2019 of Audiovizve Media Authority.
By approving this strategic action plan, the Authority fulfilled one of its objectives stipulated by Law no. 97/2013 “On audiovisual medias in the Republic of Albania” as amended, where the authority compiles and approves every three years a strategy that reflects the fulfillment of its legal functions.
This strategy includes the main objectives of AMA and the activities to be undertaken in fulfillment of these objectives and ways to achieve them.
The Strategic Plan is organized in two documents:
- Strategic Document
- Action Plan for Strategic Document
The strategic document contains a strategic mission, vision, values, strategic goals and objectives relevant to AMA, based on legal provisions and principles on which the authority operates.
In the Action Plan Document are envisaged the most priority activities and expected results to meet the strategic goals, divided into periods, for the period 2017-2019
For the preparation of a clear, simple, and direct, strategy, and that any strategic goal to develop successfully, AMA launched a public consultation process with various stakeholders, such as consultation with the International Expert from Council of Europe in the field of media, consultation with the Council of Complaints of Audiovisual Media Authority, consultation with Albanian parliament MIPA, EPCA, Competition Authority and has reflected all the suggestions and recommendations in these documents in the context of increasing synergy for the achievement of common objectives.
