Mr. Gentian Sala, the Chairman of Audiovisual Media Authority, together with Mrs. Anila Denaj, Minister of Finance and Economy, signed today a Cooperation Agreement for the protection of the general interest of consumers in the field of audiovisual media, in the process of service provision by operators of the field. Consumer protection is one of the most important policies of the Government and AMA. To guarantee this, it is thus a duty of state institutions not only to draft policies and legal acts, but to make them as functional and enforceable as possible. This Agreement will also serve to this purpose. It opens the path for cooperation between our two institutions through a transparent communication platform, in protecting the public interest.
